The US Forest Service is taking public comment on a proposal to develop a utility corridor that would serve the Patsy Marley Hill Subdivision. The proposal also includes the widening and partial paving of the existing Albion Basin Summer Road. Click here to read the scoping notice, which includes instructions to provide comments. This proposal is similar to an earlier proposal by the Shrontz Estate to develop a utility corridor and summer road improvements. That proposal was retracted by the Estate and the current proposal has been refined from its original form. The Town of Alta submitted comments on the earlier proposal, which you can read here.
