Upcoming Election – Notice of write-in candidate deadline: August 30, 2021
The Town has an election on November 2, 2021 for 2 at large Town Council seats and the Mayor’s seat. To file as a write-in candidate please contact Piper Lever (plever@townofalta.com / 385-449-1887) to make an appointment to come to the Town Office and fill out the following forms: write-in declaration of candidacy form, pledge of fair campaign practices, and qualifications for candidate filing declaration. The filing deadline for write-in candidates is 5:00 pm on Monday, August 30th. Please wear a mask when coming to the Town office; we have masks available should you forget one.
