Mayor Sondak issued Town of Alta Emergency Proclamation #5 effective May 15th, 2020 and amended it on May 21, 2020 to include the May 28, 2020 expiration date. This order has been approved by the State of Utah and Salt Lake County Health Departments, and it contains requirements in place in similar communities elsewhere in Utah. The order provides specific requirements for lodging properties, business operations, out of state travel, face coverings, group size limits, housekeeping services, building and construction activities, and other activities.
