Click here to see a version of a new emergency proclamation drafted, but not implemented, after the Utah Department of Health prohibited the Town of Alta from issuing the proclamation. The draft proclamation details a series of meaures individuals and businesses can take to reduce the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19. Mayor Sondak and the Town of Alta urge Alta community members and business operators to consider taking the precautions set forth in the draft proclamation in order to protect yourselves, your employees, your customers, and our community from what continues to be an urgent threat to public health.
