Begininng on Tuesday, September 25th, the Cecret Lake Trail will be closed by order of the US Forest Service from the Albion Basin Campground to Cecret Lake until October 30th, while Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilites repairs the earthen dam at Cecret Lake. The project wil involve heavy machinery, and will produce some noise and some visual impacts to the Cecret Lake area. Hikers should avoid the general Cecret Lake area while the project is ongoing.
