Please see a note from the Town of Alta Marshal’s Office regarding Interlodge travel restrictions. “Interlodge” is described in Town of Alta ordinance 5-4-1, which allows the Alta Marshal to prohibit outdoor travel during periods of high avalanche hazard or when Utah Department of Transportation avalanche mitigation work is scheduled or in progress. In lieu of a formal June planning commission meeting, the Town of Alta and Friends of Alta hosted an informational presentation on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) at Our Lady of the Snows in Alta on June 1st, 2015.
